Manufactured by Outerlimits Performance Boating since 2019, the SC 46 is one of the luxury high-performance catamaran boats. Built for racing, the SC-46 is powered by the sterndrive Mercury Racing 1350 engine, which, according to the manufacturer, is capable of propelling the 1.8-ton boat to a maximum speed of 170mph. Outerlimits finishes SC-46s according to customers' specifications, which sometimes include lamination of the entire boat with carbon fibers for optimum durability.

The SC-46's cockpit is a spacious area housing six comfortable bucket seats. According to the manufacturer, the architectural features of the cockpit are centered on keeping passengers safe and secure. Outerlimits manufactures open-top and full-canopy versions of the powerboat.

Since it is a catamaran boat, SC 46 has two hulls. Nonetheless, its deck is an entirely flat section with no visible gauges. Rather, the carbon-fiber-anchored deck is fortified with three flat-screen Garmins, optimizing its esthetic features.
