Pershing 140 - The Largest Yacht

Stephen Patrick Day, the president and CEO of Logistics Group International (LGI) in Houston, Texas, provides logistics and transportation solutions for customers in the US, Mexico & Canada. Outside of his role as president of Logistics Group International, Stephen Day maintains an interest in high-performance yachts.

Pershing, a top manufacturer of high-performance yachts, has several boats on its lineup. The Pershing 140 is the largest yacht offered by the company. With a body made of aluminum, it is the first all-aluminum superyacht and the first yacht featuring a raised helm station connected directly to the sun deck. Beyond this, the Pershing 140 made several other milestones as the first yacht with a beach area capable of being opened entirely on three sides and the first yacht that set the owner’s area on the main deck.

With an overall length of just over 142 feet, the Pershing 140 holds up to 18 individuals at a time. It has five cabins, four crew cabins, and seven bathrooms carried across up to 1,400 nautical miles of ocean at a cruising speed of 35 knots. This speed is possible thanks to the 140s unique aerodynamics. Pershing made the model with a contemporary bow shape and two side wings located at the start of the side walkways that aid in movement while symbolizing the company’s competitive spirit.
